Wayans Girl Foundation

Wayans Girl Foundation is founded by Diedra Wayans and her daughter Summer and established in 2015. After working on independent ventures, this mother-daughter duo decided to join forces in empowering disenfranchised communities and individuals through a plethora of services. Diedra has the life experiences which draws attention and is further complimented by the academic perspectives of her eldest daughter Summer.

Wayans Girl Foundation is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. Wayans Girl Foundation’s purpose is to provide an empowerment and strength based approach to assisting individual’s access resources and support.

“Giving them the tools they need to succeed”

Our programs include providing access to a companion, nutritional plans, therapeutic services, childcare, educational workshops and a supportive environment to assist those who are struggling and/or going through a crisis. Our definition of crisis is broad because we understand that what may be devastating to one person may not be to the next and vise a verse. Under the umbrella of the foundation will be three entities-- one focused on youth, parents/adults, and individuals living with or going through an illness.
